The Region had a panel of independent members who sifted through all of the excellent nominations to select the Regional Award Winners.
Congratulations to Athletes and Staff Selected for the South West Development Programme

Congratulations to the athletes who have been selected from the South West to attend the Regional Development Programme. This Programme has now been running for a number of years and is held over 2 face to face camps at Millfield School and one online camp via Zoom. Athletes have been selected in the 13 yrs age group based on performances in 200m Individual Medley Long Course.

The next Connecting with Coaches sessions will be led by Swim England's Head of Safeguarding Kevin Suckling and Sport Governance and Welfare Manager Helen Weeks who will be providing an update on Safeguarding including the new team and focus, what happens when a concern is raised to the team and dispelling myths around coach investigations and suspensions.
