South West Swimming Winter Championships Latest Update
With the championships approaching, please take a few moments to read the latest information below to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable weekend for everyone.
Spectator Tickets
Due to venue capacity restrictions, spectators must have a valid ticket to attend the championships.
Tickets are available to purchase in advance through OrderWhizz:
Please ensure you have your ticket ready when arriving at the venue.
Warm-Up Timings and Psych Sheets
The warm-up timings and psych sheets will be published here once available.
Please check back for the latest information ahead of the competition.
Important Millfield Site Information
Millfield School has specific campus regulations which all swimmers, coaches, team managers, officials, volunteers and spectators must follow.
Parking and Access

Parking for the championships is available only in the Swimming Pool car park.

Any additional overflow parking will be directed by parking stewards and signposted if available.

Once the car park is full, vehicles will be admitted on a drop-off-and-go basis only.

Vehicles must only be parked in designated marked spaces.

The coach lay-by is for drop-off and go only. Parking on yellow lines, road curbs or other unauthorised areas is prohibited.

If parking elsewhere, visitors must walk around the school boundary and must not walk through the main campus.
Please follow all instructions from parking stewards.
Safeguarding and Movement Around Campus
Millfield is a working school campus and safeguarding is a priority.

All attendees must remain within the Swimming Pool Complex and its immediate surrounding area.

The athletics track and other school facilities are strictly off-limits.

Visitors must not wander around the campus or use alternative paths.

Unaccompanied movement around other areas of the school is prohibited.
Please respect these restrictions throughout your visit.
Nut-Free, Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Campus
Millfield operates a strictly nut-free campus.
No snacks, food or products containing nuts may be brought onto site. This applies to everyone attending the championships.
Millfield is also a smoke-free and vape-free campus. Smoking and vaping are prohibited everywhere on site, including car parks and outdoor areas.
Refreshments, where available, will be located within or immediately adjacent to the Swimming Pool Complex.
Please ensure all Millfield regulations are followed.
Please be aware that the Somerton Road closure is now expected to come into effect tomorrow morning (Thursday 5 November) due to delays with the housing development.
The road is expected to reopen on the afternoon of Monday 9 November, with all previous traffic management measures reinstated.
Please plan your journeys to and from Millfield accordingly and allow extra time for travel.
Photography at the Championships
We are pleased to welcome Malaper Photography to the Winter Championships on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November.
Please note that the photography team will not be attending the Friday evening session on 6th November.
Several photography options are available:
General Event Photography
Free general event coverage will be available without pre-booking. Individual swimmer photographs are not guaranteed.
Pre-Booked Photo Requests – £40
Non-exclusive race coverage, with 5–10 images provided to choose from.
The £40 booking fee includes £30 gallery credit to spend on prints or downloads.
Exclusive Premium Photography
For swimmers wanting dedicated photography coverage:

1 Race Pack – £120: Includes 12 full-resolution downloads.

2 Races Pack – £160: Includes 18 full-resolution downloads.
Bookings are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The advance booking deadline is Wednesday 4th November at 8:00pm. Prices will be higher for bookings made at the event.
Please note:

50m freestyle, backstroke and butterfly races are not recommended for photography bookings.

Relay premium commissions are only available if the entire relay team books together.

On-site printing will be available in sizes ranging from 6x4 to A4.
