Exciting Coaching Opportunities Available Across Three Regional Swimming Programmes

Swim England South West is now recruiting passionate and motivated coaches to support the next generation of swimmers as Regional Skills Coaches across three key development programmes. These rewarding roles offer an exciting chance to work with aspiring young athletes, collaborate with experienced coaching teams, and make a real impact on swimmer development in the region.

Available Roles

We are currently seeking Skills Coaches for the following programmes:

🔹 Regional Distance Development Programme (RDDP)

• Duration:

  • 1 Pool Camp: 14 September 2025, Millfield School

  • 1 Open Water Camp: 30 May 2026 (TBC), Lake 86, Cotswold Water Park

• Requirements: Swim England Open Water Coach qualification (or equivalent)

🔹 Regional Development Programme (RDP)

• Duration:

  • 1 Pool Camp: 14 September 2025, Millfield School

  • 1 Online Camp: Date TBC

  • 1 Pool Camp: 17 May 2026, Millfield School

• Requirements: Swim England Swimming Coach qualification (or equivalent)

🔹 14–16 Years Development Days

• Duration:

  • 2 Pool Camps: 29 October 2025 and 15 April 2026, Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston-super-Mare

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for dynamic, committed, and enthusiastic coaches who:

• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and peers

• Are team players with strong interpersonal skills

• Are passionate about swimmer development and ongoing personal learning

• Are DBS certified and have current safeguarding training

What You’ll Gain

• Renumeration of £136 per day (and £20 for online sessions)
