Swim England South West is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to take on the voluntary role of Regional Water Polo Manager.

This key leadership position provides strategic oversight of water polo across the South West, supporting the development of the discipline and leading the Regional Water Polo Technical Committee.

About the role
The Water Polo Manager acts as the primary representative for water polo within the region, working closely with Swim England nationally, counties, clubs, and external partners. The role ensures strong governance, effective communication, and the delivery of regional objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing the Regional Water Polo Technical Committee

  • Representing South West Water Polo at regional, county, and national meetings

  • Supporting the development and growth of water polo across the region

  • Managing communication between county, regional, and national structures

  • Building relationships with pool operators, local authorities, and key partners

  • Reporting to the Regional Chair and Board of Directors

About you
You will be enthusiastic, well-organised, and knowledgeable about water polo, with strong communication and leadership skills. You will be confident representing the region and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Commitment
This is a voluntary role with an ongoing weekly commitment. The position is appointed annually by the Swim England South West Regional Board.
