The SESW Summer Swimming Championships 2026 are nearly here β€” our flagship Level 1 long course meet delivered by Swim England South West and one of the highlights of the regional swimming calendar.

We look forward to welcoming swimmers, coaches, officials, volunteers and supporters from across the South West for three exciting championship weekends.

We are delighted to confirm that a professional event photographer will be attending across the Championships to capture race action, medal moments and team celebrations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for swimmers and families to purchase high-quality images from the event β€” perfect for memories, club newsletters and social media.

πŸ“ Entries – Key Information for Clubs

  • This is a Level 1 Licensed Meet

  • All club entries must be submitted via Hytek entry files

  • Individual entries (single swimmer per club only) may be emailed

  • Email entries to: swentries@swimming.org

  • Please include club name and club code on all correspondence

  • Do not make payment until entries are confirmed

Entry Fees:
β€’ Β£12 per individual event
β€’ Β£25 per relay team

β™Ώ Para Championships

The Para Championships will run as an integrated competition during Youth Weekend at Hengrove.

  • Valid SE/IPC/WPS classification required

  • Awards presented on a multi-disability points basis

  • S14 swimmers must hold appropriate registration

The Championships cannot run without the support of our clubs.

Each club entering swimmers is expected to provide volunteers across the sessions. Parents, helpers and Young Volunteers are all welcome.

To maintain our Level 1 licence, we must have sufficient officials at every session.

Officials are entitled to mileage reimbursement (45p per mile) and refreshments for full-day attendance.
