🏊 Regional Development Programme for 14–16 Year Olds

The Region is excited to announce a new Development Programme for swimmers aged 14–16, delivered in association with AP Race.

This programme was initially filled on a selection basis, but we are now pleased to offer limited additional spaces to other eligible swimmers within the Region.

🏅 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for this camp, swimmers must:

• Have competed in their home County Championships in 2025; and
• Not be part of any Regional or National Development Programme during the 2025/2026 season.

📅 Camp Details

• Date: Wednesday 29th October 2025 845am - 4pm
• Location: Hutton Moor Leisure Centre, Weston-super-Mare
• Cost: £80 (payment required to secure your place — bookings without payment will be rejected)
• Spaces: Allocated on a first come, first served basis
• Age as at 31.12.2026

The day will include:

• A pool session focusing on the short-axis strokes — Breaststroke and Butterfly
• A land-based training session delivered by the AP Race team
• A lifestyle talk from an Olympic athlete
• An age-focused parent talk

Please note: Attendance at this camp does not guarantee a place on the second workshop in April.
