SESW Masters Open Meet 2026

The Swim England South West Region Masters Open Meet 2026 will take place at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, on Sunday 11 October 2026.
The meet will be held in the 25m short course pool and offers Masters swimmers the opportunity to compete across a varied programme of events, from 50m sprints through to 400m Freestyle.

Warm-up: Open category – 12:00pm | Female category – 12:25pm
Racing starts: 1:00pm
Entry fee: £10 per event
Maximum swims: 6 per competitor
Closing date: Friday 2 October 2026 at midday

Entries may close earlier if the meet becomes oversubscribed.
Who can enter?
All athletes must be registered as Club Compete members of their governing body.
Age groups are based on age as at 31 December 2026, with a Senior age group for swimmers aged 18–24, followed by five-year Masters age bands from 25–29 upwards. Competitors in the Masters age groups must be aged 25 or over by midnight on 31 December 2026.
Events will be swum in combined age groups and seeded heats, with heat-declared winners. Longer-distance events of 200m and above will be swum as mixed races to support the smooth running of the meet.
A participation medal will be available for every entrant to collect on the day.
Programme of Events
The programme includes:
400m: Freestyle
200m: Individual Medley, Butterfly, Breaststroke, Backstroke and Freestyle
100m: Individual Medley, Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly
50m: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly

Entries
Entries are now open and cost £10 per event, with swimmers able to enter a maximum of six events.

Entries close at midday on Friday 2 October 2026. An entry list will be published on the Swim England South West website once entries have closed.
