ASA South West Strategy 2014-17

The ASA South West is the regional governing body of swimming in the South West of England.  We are one of 8 regions, affiliated directly to the Amateur Swimming Association nationally.

The Region covers the geographical counties of Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.  It works to develop the aquatic disciplines of swimming, diving, open water swimming, synchronised swimming and water polo.

Supported by a team of professional staff who are employed by the ASA centrally, the ASA South West works closely with an invaluable and extensive group of volunteers.  The region currently has 152 swimming clubs and a membership of approximately 26,000.
