David Flack

Regional Chairman

David has been associated with the swimming community for over 25 years when his two children were members of Bridgwater swimming club.  

David was then appointed as the Development and Partnership Officer for Somerset (8 years), subsequently as the Somerset representative to the Regional Management Board - serving on many review and policy committees.

Appointed as the Regional Chairman of the Swim 21 panel for 4 years, following from this he then became the National Chairman of the swim 21 programme.  Immediately he began a ‘top to toe’ review of the programme and benefits to clubs, which eventually saw many layers of duplication disappear.

He was appointed South West Regional Chairman in 2013 and in December 2017 he was appointed as a Member Nominated Director of the new Swim England Board.
